This year our Half Marathon and 5 KM run will be on Sunday September 16, 2018. The donation from Calm Air, Two tickets to Churchill, will be given to the 1st finishers for men and women in the Half Marathon. Second place finishers for both Male and Female will received two tickets anywhere Calm Air flies.
Teddy Bear Picnic was a success again this year. Our club received $1,710.71 for our efforts at the Teddy Bear Picnic. A big thank you to Jeff Miller to everyone who volunteered.
The Board has decided that for The Half Marathon and 5 KM run for 2018 we will support Knowles Centre and The Bruce Oake Foundation 50/50
Knowles Centre had a lunch on Friday June 15, 2018, to thank everyone who supported them. Ron Miller attended on behalf of our club. The kids from Knowles Centre cooked and served the meal. Grant, on behalf of the Knowles Centre thanked Rotary Club of Fort Garry for their generous support over the last few years.
