Club Sponsors Water Well in Haiti

The club partnered with the Ryan's Well Foundation, the Ancaster Rotary Club and the Hôpital Albert Schweitzer Haiti to drill a bore hole in Haiti.

The hospital's outreach program selects the village, establishes a village water management group, conducts public health training and provides ongoing support.

Ryan's well provides the well design, the required equipment and administers the funds for the project.

The Rotary Team constructs and tests the well that consists of a borehole, a concrete foundation, a hand pump and a concrete water collection system.

The well sponsored by our club for $5000 was drilled in the Pont Sonde region of Haiti.
