The Rotary Club of Winnipeg – Charleswood held the weekly meeting at an alternate site this week. As was previously planned, we met at the Royal Aviation Museum of Western Canada located at 958 Ferry Road in Winnipeg. President Bob Antymnuik and Sergeant Lyle Miller were both present to ensure that all went as planned. We had a solid showing of Rotarians and 6 guests attend the special meeting. Pizza and pop was served at 6:00pm in the ‘Flight Lounge’ ( a big ‘Thank you’ to Jack Wilson) and the tour began at 6:30pm. Our guide for the evening tour was Mr. Chris Parsons. Chris was extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of the museum and it’s exhibits. He had a keen interest in showing us how involved it truly is to restore these aircraft over a great number of man hours. No formal business took place at the evenings event. Please make note of the following notices previously mentioned: - The Christmas Dinner tickets are now available for $30/pp and $15/p.child. Please see Magnus for tickets.
