Happy Bucks Lloyd saw cars everywhere at Breezy Bend yesterday and thought maybe it was a wedding, and would result in us getting prime rib tonight. Alas, it was a funeral and there is no prime rib. Alan’s flowering shrub has flowered. It came from BC 15 years ago and has thrived here. Jack Wilson survived the weekend. He blew off his driveway by renting a power broom. Chuck was happy to have been able to go ice fishing on May 1st. He stayed dry, and caught a 10 lb pike. Ed Thompson enjoyed the nice weather on the weekend and is hoping that his motor home will be ready to go to the district conference. Mike is going on a cruise and will be away for three weeks. Jack D. is happy that Joyce will be delivering her lyme disease talk. 50/50 draw John had the lucky ticket but did not find the blue marble. Coming up: May 11 Dr. Payam Paymani speaking about prescription medication May 18 No meeting; Victoria Day
