Foundation funding in action

Since its inception in 2007, the Rotary Club of Charleswood Charity Foundation (RCCCF) has provided financial support to a variety of charitable purposes including Polio Plus (the eradication of polio), Ripple Effect (Guatemala schools and scholarships), Shelter Box (disaster response), WestGrove School (literacy, breakfast program and family support),  Assiniboine Forest (Stewards of the Forest with the City's Green Team), StoveTeam International (deliver and sustain clean cookstove solutions) and Scholarships (high school students in Charleswood and Rossbrook House (youth support).

Why Lend Your Support? This is a Foundation that supports local and international causes identified by the Rotary Club of Winnipeg, Charleswood. We raise funds in a variety of ways including our annual Lobster/Chicken dinner, and personal/endowment donations. Because the Foundation is a registered charity, donors receive a charitable tax receipt.

Allocated of Donations

Most donations are made directly to the RCCCF Rotary to support community and international projects as identified by the Rotary Club of Winnipeg, Charleswood. Alternatively, donors are able to  is to allocate their donation to specific fundraising projects including the Assiniboine Forest and Bridge of Hope Ukraine.

When donating online (see below), there is a dropdown menu allowing donors to identify a general or allocated donation.  

Assiniboine Forest - The Assiniboine forest is our largest project and as stewards of the forest, we are in pursuit of a multi year project to enhance and protect the Forest. We forecast the total project will be approximately $2 million. We have raised approx. $350,000.00 to date.  (www.assiniboineforest.ca)
 
Bridge of Hope Ukraine Project - The Rotary Club of Winnipeg – Charleswood supports Ukrainian Refugees in Winnipeg (and nearby) through the Bridge of Hope Ukraine – Family Support Project.  Follow the Bridge of Hope Ukraine website for updates.  (www.bridgeofhopeukraine.com)

Donations to the RCCCF may be made in the following ways:
