Big Brothers Big SistersThis week we joined Big Brothers Big Sisters to help celebrate their 50th Anniversary! Executive Director Dawn Froese and all of the wonderful volunteers fed us a delicious lasagna dinner, took us for a tour and showed us a presentation of what Big Brothers Big Sisters is in our community.

December 1st Rotary Santa Claus Parade of LightsThe Portage Rotary Club and The Portage & District Chamber of Commerce would like to send a huge THANK YOU to everyone involved in the Rotary Santa Claus Parade of Lights! The RCMP, City of Portage, Stride Place, Crescent Heights Chapel and Operation Red Nose all played a huge role! Thank you to all of the volunteers and friends of Rotary that helped us out and of course to all of the participants that put in a float! We counted about 60 floats in the parade and a record number of onlookers to watch the parade! Perfect weather for a great event! |
