Our Mission
We help young people across the Gold Coast and in other countries to be the best they can be when studying, in sport, and developing leadership skills. We fund facilities and medical equipment to help improve the lives of children living with illness and disability.
Our service projects:

Arundel Park Riding for the Disabled
 
On Friday 2nd December 2022 - our club members visited the complex at Arundel Park Riding for the Disabled.
 
To celebrate extensive renovations for the ARDA caretaker's cottage Southport Broadwater Rotary Club member's joined volunteers, management and friends for a relaxed breakfast and information session followed by a walk through viewing of the beautiful new kitchen and wall cladding and guttering. 
 
It was a really positive end to a busy week for many and fantastic to see so much hard work come to fruition and hear about the excellent services provided by the Riding for the Disabled for so many families in a myriad of different ways.   Good news for the horses too - they are off on a month's holiday in the country to feast on green grass and relax by the 'dams'  before starting the new year fresh.... Haha.

Radio Lollipop Gold Coast

Our club donated $500 in the 2021-2022 budget to Radio Lollipop that they have used towards purchasing a trolley that brings surprises and games to the kids in the Gold Coast University Hospital. 

 

 

 

Our guest speaker at our Friday Breakfast meeting on April 2022 was Mr Andy Rajapakse, a champion in attracting young people to Rotary. His visionary leadership helped our district 9640 have the largest number of under 40’s in Australia and in Zone 8.
