Highlights from the meeting August 4, 2015
By Michael Pierson
On a day full of sunshine we gathered before the storms of late afternoon to enjoy our Tuesday Rotary meeting. We started with a march of the head table and then welcoming remarks by President Rob Brookwell. Carol Rosdobutko offered an invocation that used a great garden analogy with a play on words of the many vegetables we can plant. It was thoughtful, reflective and grateful in its tone. It playfully encouraged us to do good work and definitely reflected the Rotary motto “Service above Self”.
