We received DDF (District Designated Funds) worth $70,000 US out of the total $170,778 US available to the district.  Three of these were Type A awards of $15,000 each which will be matched by TRF dollar for dollar resulting in $90,000 total in funds from TRF.

Manon’s Cambodian project received a Type A grant of $15,000 and five other clubs submitted requests in support of this project with type C DDF awards of $5,000 each as well as contributing their own funds.  In addition, Manon submitted her application for Canadian government support through The Rotary Foundation Canada (TRFC).  TRFC matched every dollar of cash and DDF dollar for dollar.  With TRF and TRFC funding, this increases the club's initial commitment of $48,500 Cdn to $309,173 US  for this project – Way to go Manon!!
