The 2013-2014 centennial year activities built on the past and positions us for growth and success in another 100 years.  Thank you to the Centennial Committee for this great celebration of "One Hundred Years of Giving Back".

Our accomplishments

Hosted the Waterton Peace Park Assembly held in Waterton on 13 September, 2013.
 
In a collaborative effort involving ALL rotary clubs in Calgary, made a $5 million commitment to fund the Rotary Mattamy Greenway over the next 5 years, as our legacy signature project.
 
Hosted a Gala Charter Party at the Hyatt with record attendance and a program that knocked their socks off!
 
Hosted the RI President, Ron Burton and his wife Jetta, and representatives of all clubs, in Calgary at Rotary Challenger Park for meaningful conversation about future of Rotary.

 
 
Published the story of the Rotary Club of Calgary’s first 100 years in Calgary in an appealing coffee table book form.
 
Launched a new Stay in School initiative, the Tom Jackson Stay in School program targeted to benefited aboriginal students, in collaboration with several other rotary clubs in Calgary.
 
 

Promoted Giving to the rotary foundations, (CRCF) and TRF) and created a permanent recognition ‘pillar’  to recognize the legacy of Ev Mayhood and all donors to the Calgary Rotary Clubs Foundation.
