Dr. Hecker is an Associate Professor in the Faculty Veterinary Medicine and the Cumming School of Medicine at the University of Calgary. His academic work focuses on educational measurement issues within institutional and non-institutional settings.  His current research projects explores a new discipline – neuroeducation – where he uses brain imaging methods to study learning and decision making processes in health professional education.
