ROTARY EMPLOYMENT PARTNERSHIP STEERING COMMITTEE

The Steering Committee builds ongoing momentum for the partnership. It includes Rotarians from each Rotary Club in Calgary and Coordinators from Inclusion Alberta who work directly with employers to hire and retain employees with developmental disabilities. In Calgary, the Steering Committee is chaired by Michael Colborne from the Rotary Club of Calgary, who reminds us that the Partnership’s primary purpose is "to provide real people, with real jobs, for real pay".

The Steering Committee provides employment opportunities for people with developmental disabilities by representing the Partnership to Rotarians, employers and the Calgary community.

The Rotary Employment Partnership delivers inclusive employment and enriches the communities in which it operates by developing educational materials, building awareness within the business community of the benefits of inclusive employment, and creating partnerships with businesses.
