Dear Cheryl,
I just wanted to share with you some photos of Jim Moore receiving a Paul Harris last Thursday, February 26th at the West U Rotary Club in Houston. Please feel to share these photos with any other club members who may be interested.
Jim’s present perfect attendance record of 52+ years, was originally inspired by Jamie Koch’s dad Ferd. Jim was recently honored with a personal lunch and presentation by the president of RI, Gary Huang. As can be seen in the photographs Jim is still in good spirits and feisty health for 86 years.
Jim has been living with his daughter Alice for the past 4 years. Alice, in order to fulfill an old promise to her dad of even wheeling him to Rotary if she had to in order to maintain his perfect attendance, has joined the club, where she now also has several years of perfect attendance. I think the bug has bitten her, too.
