Board Highlights
Rotary Club of Santa Fe
January 18, 2017
  • Finances – The Club has a balance of about $50 K.  This is about 10 percent greater than at this time last year.
  •  Giving to the Rotary International Foundation appears to be on track to meet our goal for the year.  As a result of the Polio Plus fundraising last month, the Club has donated $3,920 this year, well in excess of our goal of $3,000.  Deborah Simon also reported that Rotary International has released the money to purchase an ambulance for the maternal and child health project in Guatemala.
  • There has been a little progress on the median project, and it seems to be moving forward again.  Natalie Guillen reported that our STARS Club is working on adopting a city park for a service project.
  • The Board approved Ferdi Serim for membership, and his bio has been sent to Club members for review.
  • John Triolo reported that the Club has sold 51 shirts, and that there will be a group photo of the Club on Thursday, January 26.
  • The Club will be issuing an RFP for the Club’s lunch venue for the coming year, starting July 1, 2017.  The Club’s current contract with the Hilton expires June 30.
