Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad--Rotary Day

The Fun Committee has learned that the Chama Valley Rotary Club is planning a full day of fun and fellowship for Rotarians featuring an excursion on the Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad.  Carolyn Beasley the club’s president is here today to tell us more about it.

A day in the mountains aboard this historic steam train out of Chama makes for splendid outing, and to top it off the Chama club and the railroad have arranged for a 20% discount on all tickets for Rotarians.  All you need do is call the railroad directly at 888-286-2737 and ask for the "20% off Rotary discount on Ride #6." 

Departure time is 10:00 am Saturday morning, followed by a hot lunch at Osier, Colo, before returning to Chama by 4:15 that afternoon; and then followed by a Rotary social hour at 6:00 pm.  For further information contact Dick Cowles at 986-1814.
