Work on demolition and foundations was in progress.  The water table, usually 16 feet below grade, needed to be drawn down for the support piling installation.  Two innovative methods were implemented by the contractor to save cost and reduce local noise.
oVacuum Well Point Dewatering System: Faster, easier installation and reduces amount of extracted groundwater to meet the project needs.
oAuger Cast Pile Foundation System: quieter installation compared to driven piling and more efficient materials transportation logistics.
