The Future of TV and Public Broadcasting

KVIE Public Television’s Kevin Smith-Fagan will discuss trends in the television industry and the role public broadcasting will play in the coming years.

Kevin Smith-Fagan serves as Associate General Manager at KVIE Public Television, where he joined the staff in 2004. At KVIE he oversees the leadership giving and corporate sponsorship teams. Prior to relocating to Sacramento from Philadelphia, Kevin worked in hunger relief and inner-city education. He volunteers with his Rotary Club and has served on the boards of Heritage Peak Charter School, the YMCA of Superior California, the Planned Giving Forum of Sacramento, College Glen Little League, and Women’s Empowerment. A summa cum laude graduate of Boston University, Kevin is married with three sons. For fun he is a guitar player and a baseball umpire.
