 Here are some details and pics from Harry Dewey’s Elementary School Crab Feed fundraiser on 4/6. The Rotary Club of Carmichael sponsored Dewey’s crab feed fundraiser on 4/6. It's official!!!!! Congratulations is in order to our newest club in the district! The Rotary Club of American River is a merger between the Rotary Club of East Sacramento and the Rotary Club of Carmichael. From RI: "The Board of Directors of Rotary International, the general secretary acting on its behalf, in accordance with section 2.060. of the RI Bylaws, approves the merger of the Rotary Club of Carmichael, and the Rotary Club of East Sacramento. The merged club’s name shall be the Rotary Club of American River. Its charter date will be recognized as 6/10/1948." From DG Sidney Smith: The newly formed club is an example of teamwork and a "can do" approach to finding solutions for other clubs that may find themselves in similar situations.
