WORK DAY with AMITE ROTARY CLUB The Covington Rotary Club is "adopting" the Amite Club; members of both clubs are working closely together to coordinate information on what the needs are in Amite and how unaffected members of the Covington community can assist. We invite everyone to set aside Saturday, August 20 to help in Amite. Details will be sent out to all RSVPs on Friday, August 19. What you need: your own shovels and cleaning supplies, gloves, appropriate foot and eyewear protection BRING YOUR OWN LUNCH AND WATER plus something extra to share. WEAR A ROTARY SHIRT -- we would like a swarm of Rotarians on the ground. NON-Rotarians are encouraged to come with us; please leave children at home. |
