Rotary Youth Exchange

Rotary International offers an unparalleled volunteer-staffed youth exchange program to students around the world. During a long-term exchange, students spend a year in another country living with different host families and attending classes at the local school. Typically, three families in the club will host one student over the course of the year. Metro Rotary has hosted students from Germany, Italy, Australia, Japan, Norway, Hungary, Poland, Chile and Brazil. Exposure to new cultures and customs is a powerful way to promote global understanding and peace. And it’s not just students who benefit – our Rotary club and host families benefit too.
