Welcoming Afghan Refugees

Walter Lam, Founder and CEO of Alliance for African Assistance will talk about his organization's work to resettle Afghan refugee families here in our community.  Many face several months before they can obtain “refugee” status, and the government provides only a one-time payment of $1,225 each.  The Alliance has made a commitment to find resources for 510 of these folks in San Diego.  Join us for lunch to learn how you and Old Mission Rotary can help.
