Oktober-Feast Month in Carlsbad- 2020

Oktoberfest in Carlsbad has a 37-year tradition as a one-day public festival in the park.  It had to be redesigned this year.  

It  is now:  Oktober-Feast Month in Carlsbad,  designed to be Covid-safe and offer a winning combination to all.  

1. Participating restaurants will offer a 15% discount to those providing a free Oktoberfest ticket (print or digital).  A WIN for Rotary members and the public.. (Ready in mid-September for distribution.)

2. Restaurants will have more customers in October--historically a slow month in Carlsbad.  A WIN for the restaurants.

3. Sponsors of this 31-day city-wide event will have logos posted on social media, print materials and posters positioned all over town.  A WIN for visibility for event sponsors.

Carlsbad Hi-Noon Rotary, working jointly with Carlsbad Rotary for this 38-year event, draws the majority of its financial fundraising support from this event.  Sponsorships offer a variety of levels.  Sponsor logos need to be submitted by Sept 1 2020. 

Rotary uses the funds to support its community service projects and programs locally and internationally, including 39 different local organizations--hellping thousands of Carlsbad residents each year.  This year's Oktober-Feast is dedicated to David Kulchin, Oktoberfest Sponsorship Director for the past 25 years.  Dave's commitment to this event helped raise over $675,000 over that period of time.  Please help us honor Dave's memory by joining us as a sponsor today.  To answer questions, please contact Conrad Garvey at Conrad_garvey@msn.com or Vince Ponce at beachfamily6@hotmail.com .
