Beach Clean up and Blood Draw

Carter is a 6-year old boy who was diagnosed with leukemia. Thank fully Carter is in remission but is still undergoing treatment and will continue to need transfusions. To date Carter has received 17 blood transfusions and 7 platelet transfusions. By donating your blood you are helping Carter, and other kids diagnosed survive and fight this awful disease.

Come and join us, the students, teacher and parents of Warren Walker School, Cub Scout Troup 540, local merchants and the concerned citizens of Ocean Beach in Clean the Beach Day. 

Help protect our ocean waves and beaches by participating in the public clean up hosted by Surfrider foundation.

What better way to encourage good stewardship of our natural resources, spend time with your family and friends, ad most of all show your children the importance of community service and involvement.
Reusable bags, bucket, gloves and grabbers will be available for those that do not have their own supplies. Wear comfortable clothes, closed toe shoes, hat and sunscreen. Don’t forget your reusable cup or bottle to stay hydrated (single-bottles are highly discouraged)
