Rotary Global Scholarship program

I studied as a Rotary Ambassadorial Scholar at the University of Cape Town (South Africa) in 2005, when I was 20 years old.  The experiences I had during that year were tremendously formative and have over time led to further opportunities to build mutual understanding between the US and South Africa. Most notably, I returned to South Africa in 2013/14 to serve as a law clerk at the country's Constitutional Court.  More recently, I co-sponsor a program to bring students from a high school in South Africa to study at my alma mater, the University of South Carolina.
