GLOBAL GRANT #1633934 FOR MICROCREDIT LOANS IN GUATEMALA

In Partnership with Lake Atitlan Club, Guatemala and Namaste Direct

$60,000 Will Provide:

< Education and Training for 100 Women Entrepreneurs in the rural

areas of Sacatapequez, Chimaltenango and Solola

< Women support each other in each borrowing unit

< Business Advisors meet with each woman for support throughout

the loan cycle

< Namaste tracks every loan and has demonstrated that their method

increases the borrower’s profit by 30% in the 9-month loan cycle

< Microcredit loans have proven to brake the cycle of poverty for the

families of the borrowers, enhance the health of the borrowers and

their children, and reduce the incidence of forcing their young children out of their schools and into the workforce at an early age.
