Overnight to Pinnacles Hut - Kauaeranga Kauri Trail.
Please note change of date to 23rd October
15 bunks have been booked at the Pinnacles Hut and registrations are now closed for this event.
Participants will need to be reasonably fit as the track up is reasonably challenging.
A menu and food list will be devised closer to the time as will car-pooling arrangements
The hut is about a 15 minute walk below the Pinnacles themselves where there are outstanding views out to sea and over the forest park. Climbing the Pinnacles just before dusk/dawn to watch the sun set/rise is highly recommended
There is also a one -day walk option and museum visit for the less adventurous
