America, a Mirror Image of Ancient Rome?

Dr. Hock, who earned a Ph.D. in Classics from Johns Hopkins University and a B.A. from McGill University, teaches courses on Roman and Greek civilizations at Howard University.  His talk will discuss various themes regarding current day America and ancient Rome.  It may also touch on why Prof. Hock is more interested in things Roman than in things related to ancient Greece.
