Prior grant recipient Alicia Mann, Carson Valley Chamber of Commerce Executive Director, joined the meeting to report on Project Santa Claus.  This program has been in existence in the Carson Valley since 1988 and assists economically challenged families with Christmas gifts.  223 families with 717 children were assisted this with donated gifts.  Many donations and volunteers made this possible.  Alica indicated that bikes were a huge request this year.  Currently, donations of leftover wrapping paper are encouraged and can be dropped off at the Chamber of Commerce office.
