A Successful Auction Begins with You!

Our annual auction will only be as successful as we make it.  We need to canvass the area for donations to sell in the live and silent auction.
 

Items Still Needed

If you have an item or an idea for an item for the Derby Glitz Gala & Auction, please contact Andy Willis.  Donation forms need to be turned in right away to be entered into the program and to promote the event on our websites.  Donation forms can be downloaded here (click now), and we will have forms available at our weekly lunch meetings.  Deliver the completed form to Andy via e-mail, fax or in person.  
 
Please take some time to visit the Derby Glitz Gala & Auction website at www.rotaryderby.com, where you'll find information on items already collected (or pledged), sponsors and other information as it becomes available.  Please take time to review the site, and report any problems you find.
 

Do You have Your Ticket(s)?

Some of you have not committed to buy tickets or tables.  We need participation from the entire club to make the event a success, and that means filling the tables at the Ramada.  You may purchase individual tickets for $100 each, or fill a table of 8 for $800.  Invite your friends, siblings, parents, (adult) children - anyone who wants to have a great time and contribute to many of the great causes of our club.
 
"$100 is a lot for a ticket - why so much?"  We aren't trying to cover the cost of the event, we're raising money for our Jennifer Purdy Scholarships and other Rotary projects.  Each ticket sold includes approximately $40 above our cost, making sure everyone who attends has contributed to our success.
