Ann Marie is the major Whistleblower for Suboxone, a drug intended to treat opiod addiction. The companies involved are Reckitt Benckiser, PLC and Indivior. The total fine for both civil and crinimal penalties was $2 billion and both the CEO and Medical Director were charged with misdemeanors and the CEO served 6 months in a federal prison and the Medical Director under House Arrest. Due to the prosecution, they are only the 2nd high ranking pharmaceutical executives to see prosecution and prison time.
