Salida Sunrise Offers 3 Scholarships

Before downloading the application, please, read the SSR Scholarship Process Page, the Criteria for YOUR Scholarship, the Application, and the Remittance Document for this Scholarship. Please Note the following Scholarship Application Deadlines:
Fall Semester Funding for 2024
Accepting Applications on Tuesday, March 12, 2024
Applications due no later than Friday, April 12, 2024 at 5:00 pm
Funds mailed on August 1, 2024
Winter/Spring Funding for 2025
Accepting Applications on Tuesday, November 12, 2024
Applications due no later than Wednesday, December 4, 2024 at 5:00 pm
Funds mailed on Thursday January 1, 2025
New Student at College/University/Vocational/Technical Scholarship
Fall and Winter/Spring Disbursement
(Minimum $500)
If you are a recent High School Graduate, or if you are planning to attend College, Community College, University, or a Vocational/Technical School for the first time, this is the application for you.
Current Student at College/University/Vocational/Technical Scholarship
Fall and Winter/Spring Disbursement
(Minimum of $1000)
If you are currently attending a College, Community College, University, or Vocational/Technical School and previously received the New Student SSR scholarship, this is the application for you.
Sonia Walter Memorial Scholarship
Fall Disbursement Only
($3000)
This scholarship honors Sonia Walter and awards $3000.00 to a woman whose life, personality, and values are like Sonia’s. If you are a female student graduating from high school and will attend a technical, community, or four-year college/university for the first time, you can apply for this scholarship. If you receive this scholarship, you can apply to receive it three more times after your first year of studies. Final Directions
Read, download, and compile all the necessary documents for your application packet. APPLICATIONS MUST BE RECEIVED BY 5:00 PM MST ON THE DAY OF THE DEADLINE. You may email the completed packet to scholarshipssr@yahoo.com.
