Rotary kayak float & picnic

Please join us for a kayak float & picnic. We will start by meeting at the saltbox house at 9am. There we will arrange to have vehicles and any other belonginings / pershishables taken down to Connor's cottage, with transportation back, if you are driving your car down. We will launch promptly at 10am from the saltbox house landing with anticipated arrival at Connor's cottage around 2pm.

Picnic will be from 2pm - 5pm at Connor's cottage, 1031 Rails to Trails Dr, Kennerdell, PA 16374. Please bring a dish to share. Main dish (burgers & dogs) will be served along with non-alcoholic beverages. Please bring your own adult beverages. You don't need to kayak to come join us for the picnic. There is also the opportunity to bike down from the saltbox house if anyone wishes. We can arrange for transportation back with advanced notice. 

Directions to the cottage: Take 322 East from Franklin across 8th Street bridge until you hit the intersection w/ Route 257 / Cranberry-Rockland Road. At that light, take a right and travel about 4 miles and take a right on Coal City Road. Travel Coal City road all the way until the end (5 miles-ish) which ends you up at the parking lot for the bike trail. From there the cottage is right over the bike trail.
