Patrick Franklin
Patrick H. Franklin graduated from the University of Michigan with a bachelors in Mechanical Engineering and commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the United States Army Corps of Engineers in December 2006. He married his wife Abigayle in January
2007 the day before he left to Officer Basic Course. His first duty station was Fort Lewis, Washington where he deployed to Iraq for 18 months in April 2008 as a route clearance Platoon Leader and company Executive Officer. He attended the Engineer Officer
Captains Career Course in Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri in 2011. His last duty station was Fort Polk, Louisiana where he left the service at the rank of Captain and accepted the position of Project Engineer at Alcoa Point Comfort Operations in November 2013. Patrick is the current Commander of Veterans of Foreign Wars District 24, Department of Texas and served as the Commander of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4403 for two years from 2015 to 2017. After being laid-off from Alcoa in July 2016 Patrick transitioned
to working for Testengeer at Formosa Plastics Corporation where he currently serves as a Mechanical Construction Engineer.

Padraic & Andrea O’Neil
Padraic O’Neil is a 6th generation resident of Port Lavaca and a lifelong resident of his hometown. His desire for brewing started with his time brewing beer with his late father, James A. O’Neil, on the stove top. Along with the passion for brewing beer, he inherited his
penchant for sarcasm from his dad, along with the absolute knowledge that he has an incredible sense of humor. Like most O’Neil projects, brewing went from a fun pastime to an obsession. As a graduate of Victoria College with a degree in Computer Science Padraic
worked for a chemical sampler manufacturer in Victoria for 20 years until the company relocated to South Carolina in late 2013. Since then he has spent most of his time perfecting his craft, and the obsession turned business; 'O’Neil and Sons Brewing Company, LLC’, a local craft brewery which officially opened on April 1, 2015.The O'Neil's are pet advocates and strive to utilize the brewery to bring awareness of the responsibilities of pet owners, compassion for animals in need and to support the local animal shelters whenever possible. Married since 1997. Andrea O'Neil is a tree hugging, animal loving, water passionista and Environmental Scientist
with a background that includes Geology, Water Resources & Water Research. She previously worked in the O&G sector and now works for a contracting company at a local plant. Andrea is crazy about Elvis, loves elephants, and her husband too. She loves spending time
with her many dogs, walking them at the bay and beach and is grateful to have these beautiful resources close by. Born, raised, and married in her hometown, she commuted from Port Lavaca to San Antonio to attend college at UTSA where she studied Environmental Science/Geology and worked at the Center for Water Research. Andrea believes that Port Lavaca is one of the most underrated locations along the Texas Gulf Coast & along with her husband wants to contribute to the area with a fun, family friendly atmosphere where parents can relax, where kids and dogs can play and where interesting conversations can be had. The brewery is a Pets for the Homeless Collection and Distribution site and discounts on beer are given for wish list items brought in for the Calhoun County Humane Society. The brewery participates in the Adopt a Beach clean-up and are moving forward with TXDOT Adopt a Highway program soon.
