San Antonio Food Bank

President Fred was absent today so we didn't have his usual wry wit and humor.  Today Bruce Richter spoke about the check presentation at the San Antonio Food Bank. Bruce, Gloria and Veronica Ruse delivered the check to assist the Food Bank with the needs of children during the summer while school is not in session. They appreciated the club's sensitivity and thoughtfulness. There were 35 young people packing boxes of food that day. Bruce told us that restaurants deliver food which is refrigerated. We have been invited to join them for lunch sometime and it was discussed that perhaps during December we may plan to an offside visit! We are very pleased to support such a worthy organization that helps so many in need!
