President John shared some of the discussion from our board meeting last Thursday:
We plan to begin awarding 2 new nursing scholarships spring 2020-21
We voted to make a $250 contribution to Morgan's Wonderland halloween event this year. Due to covid restrictions this will be a "drive by" event. Various Rotary clubs will volunteer and decorate with a theme from different decades.

We voted to make a $250 contribution to Morgan's Wonderland halloween event this year. Due to covid restrictions this will be a "drive by" event. Various Rotary clubs will volunteer and decorate with a theme from different decades.
One of our goals this year is to join a virtual meeting with another club this year.
Another goal is for each individual club member visit another Rotary meeting such as visiting the Northwest Rotary Club which meets on Thursdays at the Outback Steakhouse.

Allyson Hamlin proposed to enhance visibility in our community to record on zoom video club members reading a book to Locke Hill Elementary students and post on facebook.
