Eight or so years ago, Regina Kratz (in the centre) was our inbound exchange student from Germany and it was a great pleasure to welcome her back to the Club. She was accompanied by her partner Dominik Betier and her sister Elisabeth who is also a Rotary Youth Exchange alumna.

Together they had holidayed in Queensland (including Fraser island), before heading down to Sydney where they caught up with Elisabeth's hosts from her year on exchange. They then wended their way over to WA and way up North where they pretty much followed the route taken by the Rotary Northwest Safari. This included Exmouth and out to the Karijini National Park and down to Monkey Mia. There was plenty of fishing and
snorkelling to be done as well as swimming with the Whale sharks.

And so to Perth where with about five hours to spare before flying home from Perth International, they graced us with their presence, much to the delight of all concerned. Since returning from her exchange, Regina explained that she had completed her schooling plus a further two years of tertiary study and since then has worked for Fujitsu developing and marketing IT and system solutions.
