Neelam and was born in Mumbai, India. Her mother is 82 years old and is in good health. She also has one sister who owns a restaurant.

During her sixteen (16) year stay in Dubai, she worked for DHL International and then Emirates Airlines then moved to Melbourne in 2004 on a job transfer with Emirates. In 2007 she moved to Perth for its quiet atmosphere and work life balance and has since settled in Bull Creek and is currently working as an accountant with the State Department of Community.

Neelam’s older son, Shaun, who is twenty seven (27), is a master’s in chemical engineering. Her younger son, Sagar, who is nineteen (19) is studying Law at Curtin University on the prestigious John Curtin Undergraduate Scholarship.

For many years Neelam has been a part of a volunteering program that makes and provides sandwiches to those in need in the city area.

She has seen the tremendous influence and impact the Rotary Club Of Subiaco has had on her son, Sagar, and his peers at Perth Modern School, providing them with both guidance and encouragement but also an array of opportunities. Sagar has decided to pay this support forward, by joining the Rotaract Club of Subiaco.

Neelam was really impressed when learning about the impactful projects run by Rotary Clubs and through Rotary, aims to make a difference in the local community. She has also appreciated the warm welcome she has received, is very thankful for this and is looking forward to meeting and interacting with all the members of this wonderful organisation.
