Youth Services Chair: Marci Volmer
Purpose:
Plan and implement programs that promote and foster high ethical standards in the workplace and that nurture the youth of our community to become successful members of their local and international communities. Promote and model the 4-Way Test of Rotary within our community, particularly to young school children. Promote the importance of education and literacy in our community. The Vocational/Youth Planning and Development committee is responsible for coordinating the work of its sub-committees.
Students of the Month: Alison Brynelson
Review/refine procedures for Student selection, communications with schools, ordering awards, scheduling publicity and presentations
Scholarships: Fred Baxter
Review/refine criteria for the selection committee, interview candidates, select winners, provide press information, and coordinate recognition meeting.
Interact/Rotaract/RYLA : Rachel Downes (Interact and YPO); Lisa Nguyen (Rotaract)
Be a liaison between the groups and SEMR, coordinate RYLA applications.
