Research into bug resistant bacteria detection.

Ms Subha Shrestha is a research student at UWA who works with Tim Inglis and his group on antibiotic resistance. She comes from Kathmandu, Nepal, and previously worked in a clinical laboratory there where she studied AMR for her Masters degree.

Subha is studying the different kinds of AMR present in Nepal with the advanced methods we use here in Perth. She has a UWA international scholarship to develop methods for use in Nepal, where clinical labs are not as well equipped to deal with the massive AMR challenge.
