Whidbey Island Challenge Series and Virtual Gravity Race

This year we are going virtual!  And we want you to join in on the fun! 

How have your donations helped in the past? 

In previous years when we were able to have ‘live’ downhill gravity race events the money raised provided scholarships to youth with special needs to get much needed equipment or supplies, and also for students who needed extra financial help to attend Skagit Valley College, Whidbey Campus.  

How can you be a part of this great event?  Here’s how!

Option 1:                 Be in the race!!! Choose your car before they are gone!

Entry Fee:                $100 to have a car in the virtual race

You get a car with your picture in the driver’s seat and a number on it - we will even take your picture!  Then you start collecting donations and watch your car speed to the finish line on our webpage! Your donors can donate directly through this webpage on the link provided, they can mail in a check (make sure they write your car number on it!), or they can give you cash! 

You, your team members, and supporters will help get you to the finish line through their  donations to your car number! Invite all your friends, family, coworkers, even strangers to go to the North Whidbey Sunrise Rotary page and vote for you! See Sample "Letter to Friends and Family" under Events Attachments on side bar.

As the money comes in we will move you down the track!

Option 2:               Become an Event Sponsor

Gold Sponsor        $1500+                    

Webpage and Facebook exposure daily, plus one car in the race competeing against other Gold Sponsors! 

Silver Sponsor        $1000 – $1499     

Webpage and Facebook exposure 3 times a week, plus one car in the race*

Bronze Sponsor      $100 - $999          

Webpage and Facebook exposure weekly

* Event Sponsors cars will start at the the beginning just like all the cars, any extra donatons you bring in will move you forward! 

Option 3:             Make a Donation! 

Donate individually or to your friends in the race, help them get to the finish line.  If you are donating to an individual car be sure to let us know the car number so we can move that car forward! 

In this race we all win while having a bit of friendly competition and fun along the way! 

When mailing in checks please print out the Challenge Series Donation Form and mail in with your payment!
