Nevada County Health and Human Services is again offering a free drive through flu shot clinic on Tuesday October 4, 2022. We have a special relationship supporting these flu clinics. As in past years, Nevada City Rotary volunteers will assist with morning setup as well check-in and traffic control during the clinic. Chris is coordinating volunteers and has information on how to register to volunteer.

Tell your friends and family about the clinic!  More information at https://www.nevadacountyca.gov/CivicAlerts.aspx?AID=5124
Nevada County Public Health’s free drive-thru flu shot clinic is for adults and children 3 years of age and older. The clinic will be held from 12:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the parking lot of Twin Cities Church at 11726 Rough and Ready Highway in Grass Valley. The purpose of this drive-thru is to practice and evaluate response levels and preparedness of Public Health staff and community partners in the event of a large communicable disease outbreak or public health emergency. Public participation is essential to making this event a success, so please come join us and help fight flu!

Nevada City Rotary is happy to have an "on call" relationship with Nevada County Health and Human Services to assist with preventive health clinics for flu shots.  In past years we donated COVID face masks for the registration packets.
Always a fun day in service together through Rotary.
