BOOK SALE A WONDERFUL SUCCESS
A huge congratulations to all Terrigal Rotary members and friends who helped out at the book sale last weekend. It was a great success with over $8,000 raised. Everything ran very smoothly and the COVID Safe procedures implemented by the Booksale Committee worked very well. Special thanks go to John & Janet Millhouse for their leadership and organisational skills.

After much confusion and recounting on our part, Saturday’s figure was $6000+ Not $7000+ Sorry guys we were tired.
The grand total which included
Cash. $4478
Square. $3617
= $8095 👏👏👏👏 a great effort.
Thanks to you all, we all worked together to make a very successful ,COVID safe 🤞Book Fair. Special mention to Harley for sourcing our extendable conveyor contraption and to Michael for roping in his swim club mates. Thanks to David & Pia Mylan and friends Christine & Wayne ,for stepping up and helping us again, great to see you.
Thanks also to my friend Rhonda and Mary’s friend Karen . Thanks also to former member Paul Harris for helping with clean up today.
I especially want to thank you all for following your rostered times so perfectly. Be prepared this is how we are going to work from now on . It worked well, I think ,to share the responsibilities and to learn about the varied jobs we have to do.

The pack up was efficient and we now have the foundation for our long awaited alphabetical order of presentation. All done and dusted and a spick & span hall by 10.30 . Special thanks to Mark who helped me clean out the ant damaged pallet in the container this morning.
Just in case you don’t know ,the next book fair is 9th,10th,11th&12th of April . I have sent a calendar invite to everyone😊.
