Join us on International Day of Older Persons for a free online public lecture!

Dear CEH Friends,

The annual Mental Health Month Public Lecture supported by the Centre for Emotional Health and the Centre for Ageing, Cognition and Wellbeing will be held onlineon Friday 1st October, 2021 at 5pm.

The theme for this year’s lecture is “Social Connections and Mental Health: Impacts of a pandemic”.  Professor Viviana Wuthrich, an executive member of the Centre for Emotional Health and Director of the Centre for Ageing, Cognition and Wellbeing, will present the latest findings on the impact of the pandemic on older adult’s mental health.  The findings might surprise you.  Professor Wuthrich will also talk about the importance of social connections, barriers to maintaining connections, and the impact of online connections on wellbeing.

We hope you can join us for this free online public lecture. A question and answer segment will follow the lecture.  The lecture will be recorded and can be accessed later.  Anyone is welcome, so feel free to pass on the details.
