Hi Everyone,
The Rotary Carols on the common are on again and we need helpers.
Some of you may have previously enjoyed helping out with the BBQ. Rotary has decided to replace the BBQ with vendors that sell a similar product.
This is because the expense of holding the BBQ together with all the additional organisation required did not make it a profitable fund raising action. We are sorry if this disappoints you.
We also have another the issue of waste management which we need to focus on. Ryde council are no longer supplying a service to clean up the ground so we need to do all we can to keep the place clean. We are hoping that we can achieve this by communicating with patrons and better management of the waste facilities on the day.
