She gives us a brief summary of this week's Rotary activities.  (And some useful musical tips, of course . . .)
 
 
 
It is in times like these that a reminder of important values and practises are so worthwhile.  I would like to thank Andrew Crockett on behalf of the Club for an excellent presentation on the Rotary's Four- Way Test. Andrew gave a very comprehensive Theoretical and Practical Critique  which I believe highlighted the need to review our own thoughts regarding this essential guide to being a Rotarian. 
 
Although the Four-Way Test was developed over 80 years ago it is still central to the ethos and practise of each Rotarian.  Andrew's understanding of Ethics and how to apply the different types of ethics from Consequentialism, through Kantian Ethics to Virtue Ethics and Ethics of Care was both fascinating and educational.
 
At a time when the world is in such a challenged place we all need to look to a future which encompasses good ethics.
