This year again the fundraising for our Club has been severely limited as a result of Covid and the ability of members to distribute pamphlets and in general meet up with our friends and associates.

However Hawthorn has again managed to achieve a great result through the efforts of all our Club members and the support of Jellis Craig and their Melbourne offices.

Our total Christmas Ham Sales amounted to $22,000 with costs being limited to $12,000 due to the fact that printing was cut out and we were able to utilise Phil Stewart’s premises to arrange storage and collection.

Profits amounted to $10,000 and the total number of hams being slightly ahead of last year, proving that you can in fact teach old dogs new tricks.

The fundraising team thanks all members, friends and their associates for putting their collective shoulders to the wheel and giving us a firm footing for the 2021/22 Rotary year.
