Ernest Shackleton, A leader of men.

Kevin became interested in Antarctica and the Heroic Age of Exploration over 30 years ago. As a teacher of leadership principles he became aware of the leadership qualities shown by Ernest Shackleton that made possible the heroic escape from Antarctica. He was truly a Barrier Breaker and Leader of Men. 

In 2015, 100 years since Shackleton and his 27 companions were trapped in the Antarctic ice, Kevin was fortunate to not only travel to the Antarctic Continent but to follow the exact escape route taken by Ernest Shackleton in the 'Shackleton Double', an 1300 Km open boat trip across the fiercest sea on the planet followed by an epic crossing of South Georgia in 36 hours, a time never bettered even by professional mountaineers.
