Corning Rotary Sponsors Scripps Regional Spelling Bee

The Corning Rotary Club is once again sponsoring the annual Scripps Regional Spelling Bee.

The Regional Spelling Bee will be held on March 10, 2016 at Campbell-Savona High School, beginning at 5:00 pm. This year, 60 students representing 30 area schools will compete to represent our region in the 2016 Scripps National Spelling Bee held in Washington, D.C. this May. The regional champion will receive an all-expense paid trip to the National Bee, and other prizes will be awarded to the spellers as well.

Expenses for the trip will be underwritten by our major sponsors: Kraft Foods of Campbell and ServU Credit Union. Other sponsors include M&T Bank, Corning Credit Union, The Radisson Hotel, Bath Rotary, and Nesbitt Financial Services.
