Ethical Diamond Sourcing - Introduction by Ted Goldwyn

Holly McGrath is the owner of The Independent Jewelry Appraiser, located in Corning. Holly has worked in the jewelry industry since 1990.  Her jewelry career began on the jeweler's bench, apprenticed to learn jewelry repair.  Her interests led to studying traditional silver-smithing, jewelry design, fabrication, and eventually, gemology and appraising. She obtained her Graduate Gemologist's credentials from the Gemological Institute of America, and is a member of the National Association of Jewelry Appraisers.

Holly's program will focus on the diamond industry, including the history and challenges related to the ethical sourcing of these most precious of gemstones.
