A Community Service Event
Come join us for a morning in the Wailoa Ethnobotanical garden!
Volunteers must wear a mask, gloves, close-toed shoes and protective clothing.
Tasks for Wednesday morning:
- Pull out the ‘Uala in the pyramid planters, move rocks into the planters & plant Laua’e and kupukupu ferns
- Flatten the mounds in the 1st & 2nd sections
- Lay weed mat over the mounds and ditches, carry rocks into the ditches to allow for water drainage
- Plant ti stalks along lava rock wall in 1st & 2nd section
